Take a Look:

Dr. Leila Reynolds is working her shift at Southside Medical Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, when she meets a mysterious man, Lance Steel. Although Leila is a married woman, she is enticed by this bold Renaissance man. Lance seduces her, surprising her with the most erotic weekend of her life … with a vampire. She convinces herself that it was just an affair, but she can’t get Lance—or the time they shared—out of her mind.

As owner of the Caprice Casino and the exclusive Club Moroii, Lance has more money and heartbreaking good looks than any one man deserves. He soon introduces her to an underground world that she never knew existed, fraught with sex, booze, blood … and danger.

When Leila’s life crumbles around her, Lance is there to pick up the pieces … but her connection with him has a price. Can Leila leave the past behind and become eternally his, allowing her heart—as well as her body—to be touched by a vampire?

“Well, Dr. Reynolds,” a sensual voice said from behind me. “It is indeed a pleasure to see you again.” I closed the chart, unable to believe what I was hearing. His voice should not be so familiar, not after just one night.
“Mr. Steel,” I said in my most professional voice, turning to face him. “The pleasure is all mine.” I tucked the chart in my arms. “To what do I owe the honor?”
“Well, I was here finalizing my business with Drake and saw you here,” he said in his buttery English accent. Man, he was as sexy as hell! His shirt collar was unbuttoned, showing just a hint of chest hair under his light blue shirt, setting off his open black Armani suit. The jacket was open, reminding me of his hard muscles lying beneath his shirt.
“What can I do for you?” I asked, trying to sound professional, even though my heart was racing. I hoped that he wasn’t able to hear it.
“Well,” he said, running a seductive finger along my arm. “What are you planning for tonight?”
“I have to work,” I replied curtly. I turned to walk away when he caught my arm. I looked both ways down the hallway and we were alone.
“You work too hard.”
“Someone has to save lives,” I replied, trying to sound unmoved by his gorgeous dark good looks, but failed miserably.
“I had a wonderful time last night,” he began, running his fingertips slowly from my shoulder to my waist, gently bushing the side of my breast. “I want to see you again.”
“I’m afraid that isn’t possible …” I said, walking away.
“Look, just one date,” he said, stopping me. “I want to see you again.”
I turned to face him, hugging the chart to my chest so I wouldn’t be tempted to reach out and touch him. “Out of curiosity, what do you have in mind?”
“Well, I own a casino,” he said, matter of fact. “Would you like to go?”
“What casino?” I looked both ways to make sure that no one was coming.
“I’ll pick you up at your place at eight,” he said, stepping away. “Be ready … and don’t be late.”
I laughed at his directness. He was a man who was difficult to say no to. “No,” I said. My arms were still folded around the chart; I didn’t trust them.
One side of his lips curled into a half smile. He turned the full force of his green eyes to mine, clearing enjoying the exchange. “You know, I could compel you to go with me …”
“Compel me?”
“Mind control,” he said, his eyes never leaving mine.
“Oh, is that what you did last night?” I didn’t look away.
“What do you think?” he asked, his gaze never wavering.
I took a deep breath. “You wouldn’t do that to me.”
He smiled mischievously. “How do you know?”
“I just know.” I wouldn’t tell him this, but I wanted him too badly last night … and it wasn’t from compulsion. My eyes traveled involuntarily down his frame and I noticed the tight bulge in his pants and quickly averted my eyes.
When I looked back up to his eyes, his lips curled into a confident smirk. “Be ready at eight …”
He took a step closer, a smile playing on his lips. He raised a hand up to my shoulder and let it trail lightly down the full length of my arm. “What can I say or do to make you change your mind?”
“Ask me, don’t command,” I said, enjoying standing my ground.
He chuckled, then said, “Dr. Leila Reynolds,” he began elaborately without a hint of irony, “would you do me the honor of your presence in accompanying me to my casino tonight?”
“That’s better,” I said. Satisfied, I took the chart from my arms and walked away.
“So, are we on for tonight?” he asked as I walked away.
“Pick me up at eight,” I said over my shoulder without turning around. I heard him laugh over my shoulder, as the sound of his boots resonated down the hallway behind me, walking away.

HEMY, by: Victoria Ashley Cover Reveal

Hemy by Victoria Ashley
Releasing late 2014
Cover design by CT Covercreations

My name is Hemy Knox and I’m a fucking heartbreaker . . .

Ive hurt the one person that means the most to me in life; the only woman I have ever fucking loved. I let the drugs, alcohol and wild life take over; consume me. I got her where I wanted her and ripped her fucking heart out.

Since then, Ive spent countless nights having dirty, meaningless sex with a multitude of people; only leaving them wanting and begging for more with no regrets. Some may even call me the devil; soulless.

They look and judge, but there is one thing they don’t know; no one does. I want more than this life of stripping and sleeping around; the never ending party. I want love and everything that comes with it; that high that never ends. The problem is . . . I only want it with her.

She refuses to be mine . . . again. Shes smart and it’s a mother fucking pain in my ass; guarding her heart while ripping mine right out of my chiseled chest. I can’t say that I blame her. I always was a dumb ass when it came to the emotions of a woman, especially her.

She wants to see me suffer as much as I made her; watch me wither and fucking die at her feet. She wants to crush me until Im no longer breathing and I will let her, because it hurts far less than not having her as mine.

I will stop at nothing to make her mine again. The pain only drives me harder; feeding my fury and giving me a reason to live . . . her.

***Author's note*** Due to strong language and a very high amount of sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18. This is #2 in the Walk Of Shame series of novellas that will all be STANDALONE reads. This includes F/M and F/M/M so if you’re not into dirty sex scenes with filthy language, then this book is not for you. If you are . . . then, come meet the dirty boys of Walk Of Shame.

Excerpt (Onyx POV):
My eyes meet Hemy’s and they stay there as the man quickly leaves us alone.
“Lock the door,” I demand. Hemy locks the door with a smirk and walks over to stand in front of me. “No touching,” I whisper. “Just yourself.”
Hemy grabs me by the hips and sets me on top of the table before walking away and taking a seat on the other side of the couch. The clean side.
His eyes watch me with heated desire as I open the rest of my bustier and pull it open. My hands reach up to rub my pierced nipples causing Hemy to growl and adjust his cock.
“Mmm . . . you like that?” I run my hands in between my breasts until they reach the top of my panties. “I want you to come for me, Hemy. I miss seeing you lose it over me.”
He watches me as I drop down on my knees and spread my legs apart. I slowly slide my hand down the front of my panties and run my finger up and down my wetness before sliding a finger inside. “Mmm . . . I’m so wet for you.” I push in and out. “Can you hear it, Hemy? Remember how much you loved the sound of me being wet for you?”
“Fuck yes.” He undoes his jeans before pulling down the zipper. “Fuck yourself faster and rub your nipple with your other hand.” I do as he says while moaning out. “That’s it, baby. Do it for me.”
I position myself so that I’m sitting on my ass with my legs spread eagle in front of his face. I want to be sure he gets a good view. Then I pull my panties to the side and bare my wet, throbbing pussy to him.
“That’s it, Onyx.” He pulls his cock out of his jeans and I instantly notice the piercings. It has me so turned on that I have to stop all movement in fear of getting off too soon. He notices me eyeing his cock and grins. “Imagine these steel bars deep inside you as I pound into. You know I like it deep, baby.” His hand starts stroking his cock and I instantly notice the bead of pre-cum that drips off the head and onto his hand.
I bring my hand down to touch myself again and move at the same rhythm as Hemy as he strokes himself. His eyes never stray away from my fingers shoving themselves deep inside me.
I’ve needed this for a long time. Ever since leaving Hemy, reaching orgasm as become almost close to impossible. Just watching him get off as I get myself off is enough to make me want to explode.
He starts stroking harder and faster while sucking on his lip ring. “I’m about to blow, baby. I wish it were inside of you.”
His words set me off and I find myself shaking from the most intense orgasm I have had in years. A few seconds later, Hemy is blowing his load into his free hand, moaning out my name.
We both look at each other while coming down from our temporary high.

A Great Plot As Well As Great Sex

A Great Plot As Well As Great Sex
By: Sophie Slade

Once, I bought an erotic romance book. (Yeah, go figure.) The cover looked great, the synopsis sounded wonderful, so I said, “What the hell!” and bought it. How much of an investment is $2.99 for an e-book, after all? Then, I started reading it and thought differently.
Come to find out, the book was a compilation of three short—very short—stories, all by the same author. The stories were enjoyable with well-developed characters that I instantly loved, but all three stories were missing something … a plot. The sex was great, the characters, good, but, again, there was no plot. They met, they got it on, they went home. Although these stories had great potential, they left me unsatisfied. (See a trend?) I like my stories with a great plot, as well as great sex. In fact, when the plot is good, the sex is even better.
A good plot is like foreplay for the reader. In a book with a well-developed plot, there’s more story foreplay between the characters, and the reader asks themselves: Will they get together? Will they not? Then, when they finally hit the sheets, the sex is satisfying and the plot well developed, (Yeah! They got together!) providing the reader with a satisfying experience.
Now, don’t get me wrong, orgasm can happen in the first chapter, but just let the plot continue on between the characters, or one of them, if they are being showcased. Even if the guy is a man whore in the first chapter, you can still let him become a well-rounded—although horny—character for the rest of the book, while he takes woman after woman to bed, until he finds Ms. Wonderful, then wow! He only has eyes for her. (Aahh!!)
In order for a story to have a great plot, it needs a great conflict. The smoking-hot guy can’t get the girl—even though the reader is drooling—and smack! Low and behold, he gets the girl! (Yeah! Reader is satisfied, too!) Or the lady can be a lady, showcasing her struggle with men, until she meets Mr. Smoking Hot, and bam! They make beautiful music together between the sheets. By the time they get to the sex, the reader is already invested in the story with the foreplay of a well-developed plot.
So, to make a long story even longer, give the reader a great plot—as well as great sex—when writing your erotic romance. It will make the journey to the “good parts” worth the wait and, like sex, a highly satisfying experience for the reader.
Sophie Slade’s first erotic romance TOUCHED BY A VAMPIRE (ETERNALLY YOURS BOOK ONE) is coming soon.

Making Sex Believable in Books

Making Sex Believable in Books
By: Sophie Slade

When first I started writing erotic romance, I thought, “Write a sex scene? Sure! No problem! Easy!” But it was a bit more difficult than I thought.
First, I wrote a sex scene and I thought it sounded good. Yeah. Okay. Then, I read it to my husband and everything was great!
In the spirit of research (clears throat) I read another erotica book and the beginning was inspiring! The characters hadn’t even touched each other, but the author crafted the scene so expertly that it was extremely hot … and, again, they hadn’t even touched each other! I read it to my husband and, hell yeah! It was hot with a capital H!
What did I learn from it? I learned to think about every touch, every look, and every feeling that the characters feel. And, as the author, you need to feel it, too.
When I write action scenes, I learned to slow down the action within my mind, and then I can write the action scene effectively. The same holds true with writing sex scenes. You have to slow down the action within your mind, think about every touch, every emotion, every breath, everything … and then include it all in your writing.
After that lesson, I went back over my sex scenes, slowed them down within my mind, added more detail and feeling, and they were HOT … with a capital H!
